The heart of every MPYD design is a Michael Peters hull.  As designers and consultants to some of the world's largest builders, our influence on advancing modern hull design is far reaching.  Specializing in high-speed open-water hulls since the 1970's, Michael Peters has perfected hull designs including semi-vee, deep-vee, round form semi-displacement, stepped and high-speed catamarans spanning a range of 10 feet to more than 100 feet and speeds from 20 knots to over 150 knots.

Critical to the success of every hull design are the basic parameters of weight and balance. MPYD establishes accurate computer models to ensure proper mating of hulls to specific design requirements. Our goal is to always improve on previous designs and advance the art and science of hull design.
